What are your normal business hours?
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 9:00pm EST.
How does Practical Hire operate?
After selecting your employee package, you will receive an email with your username information. You will then be able to login to your virtual office where you may begin submitting tasks. You may submit tasks through the virtual office, email or any of our messenger services. Once the task is received it will post to your account, and your “employees” will begin working on it. When the task is completed, a manager will review it to ensure quality and accuracy. It will then be submitted to you through your virtual office. An email will notify you directly as well.
How much do your services cost?
Our prices are set to save you tons of money. There are no additional costs, just one flat monthly fee. All of our packages include rollover hours, so you never miss out on production opportunities. Feel free to check out our Rates to get more information about your future savings.
Are there any contracts or commitments to sign?
Nope. Not now, not ever.
Does Practical Hire outsource my tasks to another company?
No. Practical Hire does not outsource any of your tasks to anyone but their own American virtual assistants.

What is my “virtual office” and where can I find it?
Your virtual office is the heart of our working experience together. This is where your tasks are organized and delegated, continually providing you the most up-to-date status throughout the task completion process. It is where our virtual assistants communicate with each other and with you. In addition, your virtual office serves as an account manager where you can: view your remaining balance according to your monthly package; view stored files; view current and completed tasks; and review and modify account information.

What is the turn around time for my requested tasks?
We strive to get our work done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our goal is to work with you just like any employee would in your office. The turn around time for tasks is a case-by-case situation. The smaller the task, the faster it will be completed. If we foresee a project taking longer than normal, we will notify you upon receiving your task request.
What if I need a service particular to my business?
No problem. Just contact us regarding your task and we’ll discuss with you the best method to get your task completed. Your virtual employee can be trained or educated on any specific task that your business requires.
Who can use my account services?
Lucky for you and all those around you, your account hours can be shared. Just let your virtual assistant know that you have authorized your employee, family or friend, and they will gain access to your services.
How do you protect and secure my information?
We understand that safety and security is the number one concern in switching to an online or “virtual” service provider. For that reason, we do our very best to ensure that your information is safe and sound at all times. By using a project collaboration program, we are able to use a role-based tier system to control the security and privacy of your account. Additionally, all of our payments are processed through Paypal, which is PCI compliant.

Is it okay if I ask my virtual assistant to help me with something outside of my business?
Of course. Although we normally get business-related tasks, helping you plan a party or get some holiday shopping done is no problem at all. Just add it to our task list!
